Located at 6701 Burnet Rd #101, Austin, TX 78757, Dog Day Coffee operates as a coffee shop serving Austin in Texas. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

In Austin, coffee shops cluster around downtown offices, college campuses and the main commercial streets of residential neighborhoods, and the independents usually close by mid-afternoon while chains stay open into the evening. Across Texas, drive-thru coffee stands and kiosks fill the gap in suburbs and along highways, and roasters often sell bags and brewing gear at the counter. Check the listing for hours, whether the cafe takes mobile orders, and its Google rating and recent reviews; parking is easiest at suburban locations, while downtown shops rely on street meters or nearby garages. Loyalty programs are common and worth joining if you are a regular.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 7 am–7 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Dog Day Coffee at (512) 666-1414; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. More information is available on its website, dogdaynitro.com.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.7 out of 5 from 277 reviews, which is a strong result for a coffee shop in Austin and suggests consistent service.

Austin is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Austin follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I discovered Dog Day Coffee in my quest to discover new coffee shops in cities I’ve visited. It was a chance pick and a quick coffee. I did land up having the best coffee I’ve had in a while. It’s their best Nitro beverage - The Dirty Earl- house-made nitro with Earl Grey, simple syrup and oat milk. Absolutely delicious.

I couldn’t come visit ATX with my pup and not check out Dog Day Coffee. So, we came here on a chill Sunday morning, I enjoyed a latte with oat milk which I found a little too mild and she got a whipped cream treat. The atmosphere was nice, just like the service. So yeah not the most spectacular coffee, but a good pace to hang out in. Cheers.

I absolutely adore Dog Day Coffee. The coffee is delicious and every employee I’ve had the chance to meet is lovely and kind. Their iced latte is my favorite coffee in Austin, and they also just happen to be awesome people. When I order online, they wait to add ice until I arrive. It’s these small things that make a coffee shop a neighborhood staple. If you haven’t had a chance to check this place out, please do! You’ll be glad you did :)

I am a nitro cold brew snob and go out of my way to get a nitro from a local joint. When we came to Austin for a long weekend from Denver, I was blown away with the quality of their nitro and loved the atmosphere. The staff were so friendly and I’m still over here daydreaming about the next time I can get some dog day coffee. We tried the Imperial and the house and really enjoyed both, but have to say the house was a favorite. Can’t rave about this place enough. Thank you Dog Day. 🫢🏻

Short visit to Austin. Researched places with nitro cold brew and found Dog Day. Amazing 20oz house nitro cold brew with the perfect amount of a super tasty vanilla cold foam. They bring in pastries, had the best apple danish ever! Perfect balance of background music, coffee being made and relaxing in your own mind. I had some other places to check out, but decided I wanted this again.
